Problem Solve Like an Expert: Training for Students and Teachers

The Jacobs School of Engineering and UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies are pleased to offer several programs over the summer for college students and teachers to learn problem-solving skills from our curriculum. During the academic year, we offer pilot programs to teachers interested in teaching our problem-solving curriculum at their campus. We have training programs and support materials for teachers who are interested! 

 

Problem Solve Like an Expert Teacher Training Program
Program Dates: June 19 – June 30, 2023
Time commitment: Monday - Friday (8am – 5pm PST)
Location: UCSD Envision Makerspace
Stipend: $6,000

 

Problem Solve Like an Expert for Students
Program Date: July 10 – July 28th, 2023 (Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm PST)
Course Delivery: In-person. Transportation or housing will not be provided.
Location: UC San Diego Envision Makerspace (will be shifted online if covid doesn’t allow us to be in person)
